We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to help us drive innovation and sustainable growth. Every test cycle and release deployment you coordinate and sign-off will directly shape YAPEAL’s future and our path to success.

• Gatekeeping & Release Coordination: Take ownership of the release cycle, ensuring all features are validated and meet our high deployment standards.

• API & Backend Testing: Deep-dive into our microservices and API architecture to ensure robust integration with external partners.

• End-to-End Validation: Perform manual and automated testing across our full stack, including mobile and web applications.

• Collaborative QA: Work closely with our developers and product owners to define test scopes and challenge requirements to prevent defects.

• Smart Automation: Enhance and scale our automated testing suites within the CI/CD ecosystem, ensuring high-impact regression tests provide fast, reliable feedback.

• Innovation: Drive the integration of AI-driven testing tools to optimize our workflows and stay ahead of the curve. 

• API Expert: Proven track record in testing complex backend services and APIs.

• Technical Versatility: Experience with frontend testing (Mobile & Web) and a solid understanding of test automation frameworks.

• Python Skills: Proficiency in Python (or a strong willingness to transition to it) for script-based testing.

• Quality Mindset: Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., Page Object) and Agile environments.

• Hands-on Spirit: A proactive team player who thrives under tight deadlines and enjoys the fast-paced nature of a scaling Fintech.

• Communication: Fluency in English, (Swiss-) German is a plus, with the ability to explain complex technical scenarios clearly.
