As our IT Operations Lead, you’ll be responsible for the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our cloud-based infrastructure and IT operations. 

You’ll lead planning and incident management, ensure smooth releases, and drive operational excellence across teams. 

Working closely with product, tech, and external partners, you’ll keep our systems secure, resilient, and ready to support YAPEAL’s growth.

• Serving as Product Owner for IT Operations: leading planning activities, coordinating change management, aligning priorities with other Product Owners, and approving releases from an IT Operations perspective

• Driving the implementation and continuous improvement of the IT Operations roadmap and processes in close collaboration with feature teams and cross-functional guilds

• Overseeing the management and monitoring of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP); assessing priorities and coordinating the resolution of production incidents

• Triaging, prioritizing, and managing internal and external operational requests and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution

• Ensuring compliance with operational SLAs: monitoring service levels, driving performance improvements, and establishing a culture of accountability

• Representing IT Operations in interactions with internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering strong relationships and transparency

• Executing Internal Control System (IKS) procedures and contributing to Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives

• Actively participating in crisis management activities, supporting the stability and resilience of IT Operations during critical incidents

• Proven ability to lead IT Operations by example, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and reliability

• Several years of hands-on experience with IT operations processes, tools, and technologies – paired with a strong interest in their continuous evolution and optimization

• Deep knowledge of cloud-based operations, including automation, service management, and containerization technologies

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels

• Practical experience with ITIL and Agile frameworks, ideally including SAFe or similar scaled agile methodologies

• Solid understanding of the fintech and payments industry, including relevant regulatory requirements, compliance needs, and security standards (e.g. PCI DSS)
